Summer Period

For next couple of months this blog will turn into a "summer sleeping mode" and most likely only the Gedds estimated Kp index graph will be updated. This is due to the short nights in the northern hemisphere. For example after the 9th of May, the sun is less than 12 degrees below the horizon (term for a dark night) between the sunset and sunrise at Helsinki latitude. Above the 70 degr. North the sun is not setting down at all from 16th of May onwards. The blog will return to normal mode in August.
